Meeting Masters
Animated icons
Meeting Masters is a platform that makes it easy to book conference rooms, seminar rooms and event locations. For them I developed an illustrated image world and a set of animated icons that make every type of space recognisable at a glance.
Client
Meeting Masters
Services
Illustration, Icon design, Animation
Format
Animated icon set & image world

The challenge
The task was to create one overarching icon for each category on the website. Every icon had to sum up a whole category at a glance – and still work in small sizes across web and social media.
The approach
A consistent icon language with bold shapes and a limited colour palette – plus a touch of motion that brings each icon to life without distracting from the content.
From objects to icons
01
Associations
For every topic I looked for objects that people instantly connect with it – a flip chart, a coffee cup, a projector.
02
Composition
I arranged these objects into a small composition that tells the story of the topic as a whole.
03
Icons
From each composition I derived a reduced icon – and brought it to life with a short, subtle animation.

Conferences & events
Seminar rooms, conference halls and meeting spaces of every size. The icon brings together what makes a good meeting: a comfortable chair, a hot coffee, a projector and a presentation that hits the mark.
Event locations
Special venues for parties, galas and celebrations. A stage with a lectern, a spotlight and a bottle of bubbly set the scene for the big moment.
Group accommodation
Overnight stays for teams, classes and travel groups. Hotel, pillows, alarm clock and moon tell the whole story: arrive together, sleep well and start fresh in the morning.
